Ginger Terry currently serves on the 917 Society Advisory board for West Tennessee and the following:

• WAY-FM (Nashville Station) volunteer “Community Outreach” and Sue Shelton White Committee. 

• Vice-President of the Jackson Area Business Professional Women’s Club, member of the American Heart Association Circle of Red, also a member of Tennessee Immigrant and Minority Business Group (TIMBG), Nashville Tennessee. 

Title: Director of Public and Government Relations for Farmspace Ventures. 

Lives In: Lexington Tennessee.

Education: B.S. degree in Management, Organization and Development. Bethel University 2019.

Among many contributions to West Tennessee: 

• Ginger Terry has helped more than 30 organizations and events. 

• She has worked closely with non-profits such as the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Centers in Lexington and Jackson, as well as Habitat for Humanity. 

• She was appointed as a Tennessee Arts Commissioner and served on Tennesseans for the Arts.

•  Also serving on the board of directors for Aspell, Jackson. Girlfriends of the Heart. 

• Terry laid the groundwork for starting soccer in Lexington; the city of Lexington has since built a state-of-the-art soccer complex for tournament teams throughout the southeastern United States. 

• Terry has worked with organizations to help economic growth in her community as well as tourism. 

Awards, Community Leadership: 

• She was nominated for the Jefferson Award. 

• She received the C.P. Boyd Leadership Award from the WestStar Class of 2006. 

• She serves as a member of the Sue Shelton White Committee that raised funds to place the bronze bust and granite monument in Jackson City Hall Plaza commemorating Sue White who helped lead the ratification of the 19th Amendment in Tennessee in 1920.  Terry is helping develop woman suffrage heritage tourism in the state. 

• She is the West Tennessee representative for the 917 Society that ensures every eighth-grader in the state of Tennessee receives a pocket Constitution. 

• Terry received the 2017 Sterling Award: 20 Most Influential Women in West Tennessee. 

• A past member of the Business Professional Women’s Club in Lexington, her other service includes: 

• Lexington Civic League historian and fundraiser; Festival of the Lakes committee; Caywood School Relay for Life; and Caywood School Component 5 School Improvement Plan Leadership Team. She has been president of the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center, chaired the dinner and auction and worked the Circles of Hope Telethon in Jackson. 

• She co-chaired Andrea Conte Walks, which was Tennessee’s First Lady’s effort to bring awareness for the Carl Perkins Child Abuse centers. 

• She’s a graduate of Leadership Henderson County, served on the West Star Alumni Council 2007.

• Terry has also been recognized for the U.S. President’s Volunteer service award for her effort in commitment to strengthen our nation and communities through her volunteer service.
