Dear Mr. Musk and the DOGE Team,
On behalf of millions of hard-working Americans—those who punch the clock, raise families, pay their taxes, and still believe in the brilliance of our Constitution—I write to extend a heartfelt thank you.
Your recent efforts to expose the rot of waste, fraud, and abuse within our federal government are nothing short of heroic. In a time when far too many remain silent, you’ve chosen courage. You’ve chosen truth. And for that, you deserve the gratitude of a nation that’s been kept in the dark for too long.
Let’s not beat around the bush. We’re being fleeced—and you’ve helped rip the curtain down.
$831 million for a survey conducted by the Department of the Interior—meant to cost only $10,000—that accomplished nothing? That’s not just mismanagement. That’s theft, plain and simple.
Over 2 million illegal immigrants issued Social Security Numbers in 2024 alone—granting access to services, benefits, and funds paid for by citizens who’ve never once missed a tax deadline. The American worker is forced to fund a system that no longer puts citizens first. This isn’t compassionate governance—it’s betrayal.
And then there’s Ukraine. President Zelensky claims they “lost” track of $100 billion in aid, yet our leaders insist we send more. How do you misplace a hundred billion dollars—unless it was never lost, just redirected? Many Americans, rightly, suspect the worst: that our tax dollars are being funneled into a corrupt globalist pipeline and circling back as kickbacks into the hands of those in Congress who facilitated the theft. If that’s true—and we hope full investigations prove it—then what we’re witnessing is not foreign aid, but treason.
These are not isolated events. These are symptoms of a government that has forgotten who it serves. A Congress that refuses to provide a full and accurate accounting of the federal budget—where, shockingly, $4.7 trillion cannot be traced—is not just incompetent. It is complicit.
Meanwhile, the American people toil on. Small business owners scraping to keep their doors open. Teachers trying to instill values while navigating bureaucratic red tape. Truckers, electricians, farmers, nurses—all carrying the burden of a government that no longer respects their sacrifice.
You, Mr. Musk, and the brave individuals behind the DOGE team, have given voice to what millions of us have felt in our gut: that we’re being robbed in broad daylight, and the thieves wear suits on Capitol Hill.
We need accountability. We need transparency. And we need leaders with the moral courage to demand both. The Constitution—our sacred charter—grants Congress the power of the purse, but also demands that this power be exercised with restraint, responsibility, and reverence for the people. Right now, Congress is violating that trust.
Your efforts serve as a reminder that truth still matters—and that in this republic, we the people still have a voice. You’ve amplified it.
Please know that we are behind you. And we’re ready to stand with anyone who still believes in a government of the people, by the people, for the people—not at the expense of the people.
We at the 917 Society are a small grassroots nonprofit that honors and celebrates our U.S. Constitution, as directed by federal mandate 108-447. We do this by educating our youth and equipping the next generation with knowledge of the freedoms and responsibilities enshrined in that sacred document. Yet, unlike the bloated NGOs and nonprofits that leech off taxpayers, we ask for no state or federal funds. Because we believe—firmly—that nonprofits should not be funded with your hard-earned money unless you choose to give it.
The radical organization BLM, for example, took $90 million in taxpayer-backed funds, then went bankrupt—serving no clear mission and no people. There was no accountability. No justice. No consequences. That’s not just wrong—it’s un-American.
It’s time to restore integrity to how our money is spent and demand that our government serves us—not itself.
With deepest respect and enduring gratitude,An American Citizen Who Still Believes in the Constitution
