An Open Letter to President Donald J. Trump: A Call to Rededicate America to God

Writer: Joni917Joni917

Dear President Trump,

There comes a moment in the life of every nation where it must look in the mirror and ask: What is our foundation? Who are we, and where are we headed? For America, that moment is now.

You, more than anyone, understand what it means to stand against the odds. You have endured endless attacks, slander, and attempts—some of which could have cost you your life—and yet, you stand. Why? Because I, like millions of others, believe with all my heart that the hand of God has protected you. Just as God preserved George Washington in battle and blessed our Founders with a miraculous victory over the world’s greatest military empire, I believe He has preserved you—for such a time as this.

Over 230 years ago, on April 30, 1789, our first President, George Washington, walked with his cabinet down a dirt road in New York City to St. Paul’s Chapel, in the shadow of what would one day be the Twin Towers. There, on his knees, Washington dedicated this nation to Almighty God. This was no political stunt—it was an earnest act of humility and leadership. That moment is well-documented in our history, though rarely taught in today’s classrooms. It marked a covenant, a national acknowledgment that our rights come not from government, but from our Creator.

And in a stunning twist of providence, that same little church—St. Paul’s Chapel—stood unscathed when the towers fell on 9/11. Not a broken window. Not a cracked brick. It became a sanctuary of hope, where police, firefighters, and volunteers found refuge amid the ruins. That is not coincidence. That is divine protection.

Mr. President, the American people are starving for truth. We are overwhelmed by darkness—gender confusion in our schools, the erasure of our history, attacks on free speech, and a federal government that increasingly denies the God who made us free. But America has always been a nation of miracles—and we need another one now.

That is why I’m writing you today—not as a partisan plea, but as a call from the heart of our founding.

On April 30, 2025, I am asking you, Mr. President, to lead this nation back to God. Just as Washington did. To walk—literally—to St. Paul’s Chapel, with your team, your allies, your family, and declare openly what millions of us feel deep in our souls: that America must be rededicated to God.

We are less than 40 days away. This isn't about politics. It's not about polls. It's about our posterity.

We’ve seen the power of prayer and providence in your life—how that bullet just missed you, how relentless persecution has failed to stop you. We’ve seen the parallels in history—how you were spared, while President Kennedy tragically was not. And now, the timing is clear. The calendar aligns with destiny.

Let this April 30 be a moment when you kneel where Washington knelt. Let the world see that America remembers who we are. That we are still one nation under God, and we will not be silent while evil spreads.

There will be critics. They’ll shout about “separation of church and state”—a phrase nowhere in our Constitution. But our Constitution guarantees the free exercise of faith. It was never meant to separate us from God, but to protect our right to worship Him freely.

Mr. President, you’ve said before that you believe God spared your life for a reason. This might be it. Imagine the impact—not just politically, but spiritually—of leading a national rededication to the God of our Founders. The media may mock it, but the American people? They’re starving for hope.

Let us humble ourselves, as it says in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

That promise wasn’t just for Israel. It’s a timeless truth. And America needs healing now more than ever.

Let April 30, 2025, be more than a date on the calendar. Let it be a turning point. Let it be the day that America returned to the path of righteousness and strength. And let the next generation learn not only of our founding—but of our return.

With deepest respect and earnest prayer,
