Comcast Finally Dumps MSNBC—Proof Even Corporate America Knows the Truth

In a move that’s making waves across media and politics, Comcast is spinning off MSNBC—and frankly, it's long overdue.
For years, MSNBC has masqueraded as a legitimate news outlet, while acting more like the communications arm of the DNC. But now, the curtain is being pulled back—not by conservative critics, but by the network’s own hosts. Jen Psaki, the former White House Press Secretary turned MSNBC personality, openly admitted what most Americans already know: they’re never going to cover Donald Trump in a positive light. Why? Because their audience doesn’t want facts—they want validation.
This isn’t just bad journalism. It’s not journalism at all.
The Business Case for Cutting Ties
Let’s be honest: Comcast isn’t exactly a conservative stalwart. But even they can’t stomach the brand liability that MSNBC has become. With viewership sliding, trust eroding, and lawsuits looming from misinformation and slander, the network is a financial and legal risk.
So what does Comcast do? They keep the NBC News division. They keep the streaming platforms. But MSNBC? That goes into the “SpinCo.” An ironic name, considering that’s exactly what MSNBC does best—spin.
Comcast is cutting the cord on toxic bias. And for that, they should be applauded.
Jen Psaki’s Revealing Confession
Let’s revisit Psaki’s quote from The Grill Room podcast:
“We’re also going to talk about Trump, and it’s typically not going to be positive.”
Translation: Forget objectivity. We push a narrative—period.
This isn’t surprising. It’s the same Jen Psaki who, as White House Press Secretary, told Americans inflation was “just up a dollar” while groceries skyrocketed and family budgets crumbled. The same administration that tried to sell 9% inflation as “transitory.” And the same media class that wants to regulate free speech platforms like X (formerly Twitter) so they can silence dissent.
In other words, this isn't about journalism. It's about power. Control. Agenda.
The Hypocrisy Is Blinding
Legacy media outlets like MSNBC love to accuse others of spreading “disinformation,” yet they built their brand on the biggest misinformation campaigns of the last decade:
Russia Collusion Hoax
Hunter Biden Laptop Suppression
“Most Expensive Thanksgiving Ever” Is Just Your Imagination
They’ve dismissed, twisted, and outright lied about conservative policies, American values, and especially Donald Trump. Meanwhile, they present President Biden—clearly faltering in cognition and leadership—as the “sharpest version of himself.” You can’t make this up.
This Is Why Independent Voices Matter
The reason voices like Trish Regan are surging—reaching 700,000+ subscribers without legacy media’s help—is because people are starving for authenticity.
The American people are tired of being manipulated. Tired of being lied to. Tired of corporate media covering for corruption while sneering at average Americans.
We want truth. We want transparency. We want journalism that respects the Constitution—not one that advocates changing laws to silence political opponents.
A Turning Point?
Comcast's decision to distance itself from MSNBC is not just a business move. It’s a signal that even corporate media giants see the writing on the wall. The propaganda model is collapsing under its own weight. The free market—and the American public—is demanding better.
Let’s take this as a win. But more importantly, let’s take it as a call to action.
The 917 Society exists to ensure our youth understand the Constitution—not through filtered agendas, but through the truth of our founding principles. Because a citizenry educated in liberty won’t be so easily swayed by partisan lies.
If we want a future built on truth, it starts by teaching the next generation what freedom really means.
