On this sacred Easter Sunday, as we rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are also reminded of a greater truth that transcends time and turmoil: the promise of renewal. “He is risen” is not only a declaration of victory over the grave — it is a call to rise again, to restore, and to return to the truths that anchor both our souls and our nation.
Today, America stands at a crossroads. We face rising tensions abroad — from the economic chess match with China to the continued conflict in Ukraine, and precarious nuclear negotiations with Iran. Here at home, a cultural reckoning tests our moral compass, as debates over identity, liberty, and government power shake the foundations of our republic.
Yet Easter reminds us: from the darkest tomb, life can emerge. From despair, hope. And from chaos, order — if we return to the source of our strength.
That strength is found in the founding principles of this nation — the unshakable truth that our rights are not granted by government, but endowed by our Creator. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States are not relics of the past. They are, like the Gospel itself, enduring guides for those willing to read, remember, and reclaim them.
At the 917 Society, we believe that education is the cornerstone of that renewal. That’s why we place pocket Constitutions in the hands of 8th-grade students across America — giving them not just a document, but a legacy. We are preparing a generation not merely to inherit America, but to preserve and defend her.
So on this Easter, let us do more than celebrate the empty tomb. Let us also rise — as individuals, families, and a free people — to meet the moment with faith, courage, and conviction.
He is risen — and with Him, may this great nation rise again, rooted in liberty, led by truth, and redeemed by grace.
